Your Login is Secure

Access to the ING Retirement Plans Web Site (ING Access) is only permitted to customers who successfully login with the appropriate Username and Password. In addition, ING Access uses an encryption system that scrambles your information as it passes over the Internet.

ING uses a "secure Internet session" through a protocol called SSL (Secure Socket Layer) to encrypt all information passed over the Internet, from our server to your browser. SSL technology is a protocol for managing the security of a message transmission on the Internet. Within the login page, controls are enforced which direct the login data to the appropriate secured URL.

As soon as you hit the submit button during the login process an SSL session is established and your Username and Password are encrypted. Only after it is encrypted is your data passed to the secured ING Access site via the SSL connection. This information can only be interpreted by the receiving site, which resides in a secured domain. This process ensures that the login information will be safely passed to the secured ING Access site.
